You know these are the same guys that (attempt to) drift front wheel drive cars on main thoroughfares - and in some cases total them - because they can, right?
A case of more money than sense I dare say.

What a waste... It should be legal to steal clearly abandoned cars... because... isn't that a red Lancer Evo, or at least a regular Lancer in that first pic? There is no reason that car should be being abandoned... It's a relatively new car. Personally, I think that abandoning cars like this should be a crime, as one could construe it as polluting and/or littering. Unless those people own that land, that's essentially what they're doing.
And another question... if they've got so much money that they can waste perfectly good cars... WTF are they still living in a desert for!? If I were rich, the last place I'd want to live is a desert... Hell, I'm not rich, and I wouldn't live in the desert now... even if someone gave me a free house and property there... I'd just sell it.
Anyways, what a shameful waste.

This doesn't inherently damage the car. They can always take the stones out, which I'm assuming they eventually do.

Aside from stretching out the suspension and scraping up the entire underside, yeah.
Although I could imagine the results could be catastrophic if some of the stones fell out, since it could shift the car's weight down onto one wheel or make the car slide down and tear up the oil pan.

Its just a regular lancer and from what I can see they are just using cheap econoboxes so I don't really mind it unlike stance.

Oh, no. I could've used that Lancer's unscratched front bumper. Scratched and pressed up against a bunch of rocks? Not so much.
